Vesna Vrga Perović is a lecturer of various courses related to Project Management. She gained her experience with projects while working for Croatian Academic and Research Network - CARNet in the period of its transition to a project oriented organization. As a project manager, her focus was on the introduction of the new services and organizational development projects. She initiated many and participated in the international projects within various programmes and organizations (CARDS, TEMPUS; 6th FW - GEANT, NATO).

In her role of vice CEO of CARNet she was involved with management of many simultaneous projects running within the organization and the challenges of resource conflict resolutions. She was first Organizing Committee Chair of CARNet Users’ Conference in 1999, was invited speaker to many NATO Advanced Networking Workshops from 1999 to 2004 and was leading the establishment of the Life Long Learning Academy (L3A) in 2006. She was a member of Management Committee of the CEENet (Central and Eastern European Networking Association) from 1999 to 2002 and was awarded with CARNet annual award in 1999.

Ms Vrga gained her degree in engineering at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, MBA at IEDC Bled School of Management in Slovenia and specialised education at the J.F.Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in USA and in Management Centre Europe in Brussels.
